Girard-Perregaux does not have any information in their records regarding a relationship with Mathey-Tissot and nor does Breguet. Similarities are so extreme between the Mathey-Tissot and both the Girard-Perregaux and Breguet that I believe both to be manufactured by Mathey-Tissot until shown otherwise. I have never seen published material from the Girard-Perregaux or Breguet indicating that the pieces were manufactured by Mathey-Tissot, though this is accepted within the community.
I publicly want to thank him for what he did for me.My interest in “Type XX” timepieces is exclusively the 3-register flyback chronographs manufactured by Mathey-Tissot for Breguet, Girard-Perregaux, and also under the Mathey-Tissot brand. I would not hesitate to have him fix any of my watches and I recommend him highly for those hard to fix watches in your collection.
He communicates with his customers throughout the process and follows up throughout the work. Sudarson is a truly competent watchmaker who can fix complex old watch problems at a fair price. Yes, it took two years, two trips to India and two different repairs and searches for hard to find parts but Sudarson worked a miracle and fixed the watch!!! After several challenges with circuitry and parts, Sudarson was finally able to fix my watch, not once but twice, when no one else could. The complicated electrical Caliber 350 movement for this watch is no longer made making the fix even more difficult.
Sudarson, who is located in India, stated that he could fix my watch! Although I was reluctant to send my watch around the world and to someone I did not know, I did so as a last resort wanting it fixed. Searching the internet, I found Sudarson at. Although it was not a very high end watch it was of great value to me and unfortunately the movement and several other parts were damaged and could not be fixed by my watchmaker here in the U.S. This watch was one of the first quartz movements back in the early 70’s and the watch was given to me by my late parents for college graduation. Back in 2018, my Girard Perregaux watch stopped working.
